In February of 2021, Trinity Investors (formerly Trinity Private Equity Group) partnered with Sancus Capital Group to acquire Nano Hearing Aids (“Nano”). Nano is a leading direct-to-consumer (“DTC”) designer and online retailer of its own affordable, branded hearing aids. Nano was founded in late 2017 to be a “first mover” in selling DTC hearing aids after the FDA’s Reauthorization Act of 2017 reversed restrictions on the sale of certain medical devices, with specific references to hearing aids. Nano hearing aids ship to all 50 states and most U.S. territories.
